Hard to figure why the recruiting services aren't higher on this guy. He was the best player in the state and had offers from big time programs, including Ohio State. All indications by the coaching staff so far have been that Fogerson will begin on offense. I think they are making a big mistake not looking at this guy on defense. His combo of size and speed seem to make him a perfect fit for safety and a guy who could be a play maker on defense. Combine that with the depth at running back and the lack of depth in the secondary and his position seems clear. He did however have one heck of a season as a back and put on an incredible performance in the state title game, so I can see the desire to have him begin on offense. My guess is he makes the switch to defense. That is where he can have the most immediate impact.
